Rang up Lexmark and they sent me out a replacement printer. They didn't even want the old one back. They just asked where I bought it and when, and took the serial number. Told them got it in August, but the serial said it was made in may but got it exchanged within days. told me to take the faulty one to a recycling centre. You have to keep all of the power cables though as they don't send you replacements for these or for ink.
