HP P1006 problem
I have a new HP P1006 and the pinch rollers leave an imprint
down the center of the page about 3.5 inches apart, with a divot
every 1/4 inch. It's not visible in indirect lighting (which is probably
why it slipped passed QC), only when the lighting is at an angle. It
appears that the upper rollers as it leaves the machine may be the
culprit, but that is just a guess based on the spacing.
I Googled this problem and someone said they returned this printer
for the same problem, and the next one did it as well. The train track
effect is annoying, so I was wondering whether there was a slight
adjustment, or failing that, what the odds of another copier doing
the same thing are.
