Reset Printer Canon MP145 and MP160

1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a service mode. (Waiting for menu selection).
4) When the on/off lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button the specified number of time(s) according to the function listed in the table below.(Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange and green, starting with orange).
note: press 4 times for waste ink counter reset.
5) Unplug cable power. (for MP145 / MP150).
6) Turn Off Power. (for MP160).

Waste Ink Counter Reset.

Step 1 : Manual Temporary Only
1. lepas kabel power dan kabel USB.
2. Buka pintu dan tekan/tahan tombol Power.
3. insert kabel power.
4. Tutup pintu, kemudian lepas tombol Power
For Reset by software
or Step 1: Manual for service mode
1. Turn off the printer. And disconnect the printer cable.
2. Press and hold the POWER button, turn on the printer.
3. The indicator (L.E.D.) should be green.
4. Press and release the RESUME button , the indicator (L.E.D.) should be orange.
5. Press and release the RESUME button again, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be green.
6. Release both buttons.
step 2 : Software for Permanen
1. Reconnect the printer cable.
2. Open General Tools software and select (USB PORT)
3. Choose (SET DESTINATION 1) And it should be reset.
Remark After service mode Pls use software for permanent reset

Canon MP970 Printer

I thinking about buying the new Canon Pixma MP970 printer to replace
my ageing HP PSC750.

I've googled for reviews of the printer, but I can't find any.
Can anyone who has this printer give me any recommendations?
Any good or bad points about it?

You are better off with an Epson V700 scanner and a Canon IP4500 printer. Each is the best in its class and when one wears out you still have the other. Be sure to use OEM ink.

Download Canon Pixma iP1980 resetter

Canon Pixma iP1980 printers have the same problems and complaints with the Pixma iP1880. So if you have some problems with the printer Pixma iP 1980, try to use the General tool (Resetter) Canon Pixma iP1880 Printer. Trust me, this resetter would work well. Try it and Good Luck.

These are the steps:
1. Turn On iP1980
2. Push and Hold Resume button about 2 minutes
3. Release Resume button
4. Printer back to normal again

Canon CLI-8/PGI-5 resetter question 1

I bought mine here

It looks like either Sudhaus's redsetter, or a clone of Sudhaus's
redsetter.

It takes a battery(CR2032), but it's easy enough to crack open the
case an replace it.

According to them it's good for 1500 resets. Even 150 resets
represents represents 30 cartridge changes for a given printer. There
is every reason to believe that a given resetter will last as long as
your printer on one battery.

There is also a bluesetter on the market, but the only place that
sells them that I know about wants a good deal more than $30 for it.

the cli-8 adapter.

The one I bought works just fine, though I was trying to reset them
backwards at first. Silly me.

Canon BJC2100SP

Biasanya dikarenakan Ink Waste Pad nya dianggap sudah penuh dan harus diganti. 
Sesudah diganti, maka ada cara tertentu dengan beberapa kombinasi untuk me
reset nya.

Kalau untuk Canon BJC2100SP dengan :
Keluarkan cartrigenya,
Lepaskan steker dari stok kontak,
Tutup panel atas,
Tahan tombol RESUME/RESET dan pasangkan steker ke stop kontak,
Lepaskan tombol RESUME/RESET,
Dalam waktu kurang dari 5 detik, tekan tombol RESUME/RESET sekali,
Tekan tombol RESUME/RESET selama 2 detik atau lebih, lepaskan,
Ulangi sekali lagi, tekan tombol RESUME/RESET selama 2 detik atau lebih,
lepaskan
Selesai.

Kalau untuk Canon Pixma 4200, saya tidak tahu, namun kalau di printer hanya ada
satu tombol, seperti printer Canon BJC2100SP, bisa dicoba cara di atas.

bottles. One is marked pigment black and the other is just black.
Which one is going to 3e and which one is going to 6 black?
