2002 Chevrolet Avalanche User Manual
This manual will assist Chevy Avalanche owners to learn about features and controls of their vehicle, picture and words work together to explain things quickly and raise the uderstandability.
This crossover SUV/pickup truck is based on the Chevrolet Suburban and uses General Motors' innovative "midgate." Avalanche has four full-size side doors and an open cargo bed separated by the midgate. The rear seat folds and the midgate lowers to eliminate the barrier between cabin and bed, converting the 5.3-ft cargo box to 8.1 ft. The rear window detaches and stores onboard, the bed sidewalls have storage compartments, and the tailgate locks. Standard seating is for six. Front buckets are available. Leather upholstery, heated front buckets, and a power sunroof are optional. The half-ton-payload Avalanche 1500 uses a 5.3-liter V8. The heavy-duty 2500 models have an 8.1-liter V8 and a 37.5-gal fuel tank, 6.5 gal more than the 1500. Both have automatic transmission, front side airbags, and antilock 4-wheel disc brakes. Avalanche offers rear-wheel drive with optional traction control, or GM's Autotrac 4WD that can be left engaged on dry pavement and includes low-range gearing. GM's OnStar assistance system is optional. The 2WD 1500s offer rear self-leveling and a Z66 on-road suspension package, the 4x4s a Z71 off-road suspension. The 1500s also offer "North Face" trim created with the clothing/equipment maker.

2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Owner’s Manual
New in this 2004 year model is an engine option that makes turbo power available at a lower cost in the '04 PT Cruiser. The retro-styled PT will soon add a 4-passenger 2-dr convertible to the existing 5-passenger 4-dr wagon 2005 lineup. Both have front-wheel drive and a 2.4-liter 4-cyl engine. Base, Touring, and Limited models come standard with 150 hp. The turbocharged GT model has 220 hp. New for '04 is a 180-hp turbo option for Touring and Limited models; it comes only with automatic transmission. Manual transmission is standard, automatic optional with the other engines. The GT's automatic is Chrysler's AutoStick with a separate gate for manual shifting. Antilock 4-wheel disc brakes with traction control are standard on the GT and optional on 180-hp versions. A front-disc/rear-drum ABS option is available for nonturbo models. Front side airbags are standard on Limited and GT, optional elsewhere. Also newly optional are satellite radio and Chrysler's UConnect, which uses the audio system as a hands-free, wireless link to cell phones. The base model has 15-inch wheels, Touring and Limited have 16s, the GT has 17s. GTs also have body-color exterior trim, exclusive sport seats, and silver instrument faces with matching cabin accents. The wagon's front passenger seat folds and the rear seat stows or removes for extra cargo room. The convertible, introduced as an early '05 model, has an integrated roll bar, power top with heated glass rear window, split folding rear
seats, and a trunk pass-through.

2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban Owner Manual
2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban User Manual
The 2005 Chevy Tahoe is based on GMT400 platform that usually is used as truck chassis such as Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Engine available is 5.7 TBI V8 with 4L60E or 4L80E automatic transmission.
This manual only covers small part of maintenance schedule/ DIY stuff, but covers a lot of informations on features, controls and driving improvement of Chevy Tahoe/ Chevy Suburban Manufacturing Year 2005.
An available navigation system tops 2005 additions to Chevrolet's large SUVs. Tahoes are cousins of the GMC Yukon and Yukon Denali; the longer Suburbans are kin to Yukon XL/Denali XL. Tahoes come as half-ton 1500s, Suburbans in 1500 and heavy-duty 2500 models. All offer LS, upscale LT, and off-road-oriented Z71 trim and a liftgate with opening glass; swing-out rear cargo doors are dropped. A 3rd-row bench seat is standard for Suburbans, optional on Tahoes for up to 9-passenger capacity; 2nd-row buckets are available with the LT or Z71 package. Front side airbags are optional. Head-protecting curtain side airbags are unavailable.
All models have antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, automatic transmission, and a V8 engine. Tahoes come with a 4.8-liter and offer a 5.3 that's standard on Suburban 1500s. Suburban 2500s use a 6.0 or optional 8.1-liter. All models offer rear-wheel drive or GM's all-surface Autotrac 4WD with low-range gearing. Suburban 2500s with 2WD and 6.0 V8 have traction control. GM's Stabilitrak antiskid system became standard for all Tahoe and 1500 models during the '05 model year; it is not available on 2500s. GM's Quadrasteer 4-wheel steering is available for 6.0-liter Suburban 2500s. Quadrasteer reduces turning radius at low speeds and is designed to enhance stability at higher speeds and when towing.
The navigation system is optional for all but LS models. It includes a touch screen integrated with a new audio head unit. GM's OnStar assistance is standard. Also, the Z71 off-road package is extended from 4WDs to 2WDs; it features unique wheel flares, body trim, and special shock absorbers, plus 17-inch wheels in place of 16s. Rear DVD entertainment, satellite radio, and load-leveling rear suspension are optional. Power-adjustable pedals are available for LS models, standard otherwise.
